Turn the clearing question inside out: treat each requirement as stock. It sits "in the warehouse" from the moment it's created until it's fully cleared — and by the North Star, fully cleared means three purchases, not one. We want to hold low stock and watch it age: a growing, ageing pile of un-cleared requirements is un-served demand quietly rotting toward churn. This page is the inventory view of everything the other clearing pages measure in flow.
Stock level — is the pile growing?
This week. Un-cleared stock has climbed to 107 requirements and keeps rising — the '0 purchases' band (74) is both the largest and the fastest-growing. So what: because almost nothing reaches three purchases, requirements accumulate faster than they clear. This is the same fan-out and supply-depth problem the sell-through page measures in flow — here it shows as a shelf that keeps filling. This week. A third of stock — 32 requirements — has sat 4+ weeks, and three-quarters of that has zero purchases. So what: these are the customers most at risk of walking. A fresh 0-purchase requirement is just unworked; a four-week-old one is a customer who came, got nothing, and is deciding we were a waste of time. This week. 20 requirements came in; 17 left — but only 1 by actually clearing to three purchases. The other 16 aged out: customers who gave up. So what: our stock-turn is almost entirely abandonment — 6% of what leaves the shelf leaves because we served it, 94% because the customer walked. That's the number this whole section exists to fix: a requirement that ages out un-cleared is a worse outcome than one that never entered, because the customer chose us and we gave them nothing.
